Scope and Contents

This collection contains materials related to Northwest High School in Kansas City, Missouri. These materials include student newspapers from the school, as well as student registers, photographs of some of the early graduating classes, class rosters, and memorabilia collected by students over the years. The collection also contains two boxes of minutes books and registers from various student clubs, including various literary societies, the Shakespeare Club, Mathematics Club, Girls’ Club, and Student Council. The files from the series labeled “Memorabilia” were assembled as scrapbooks, and contain various programs for graduation, plays, and other events, as well as student photographs, cards, report cards, and other materials.
