Herman Schumann Collection
This collection contains photos of Herman and Pauline Schumann and their family. Many of the photos are unidentified. Other documents include the original baptismal and marriage records from Germany as well as the deed of sale for land owned by Herman Schumann.
Hixson Family Collection
This collection consists of genealogy and photographs for Lloyd Clayton Hixson and other family members. The majority of the collection are photographs taken and collected by Lloyd Hixson. These photographs document various family members as well as his military service in the United States Navy. Also included is a photograph of his parents, Floyd T. Hixson and Julia L Littlejohn, on their wedding day. There is also a genealogy pedigree chart completed by Lloyd’s daughter, Gail.
Huffman Family Collection
This collection contains genealogical documents related primarily to the Huffman Family, including family research papers and documents related to family reunions. There are also papers on the Sorbet family and the Rieck family, as well as some miscellaneous research, family group sheets and descendancy charts. The collection also contains some photographs, though most are photocopies of originals. There are also several floppy disks in the collection.
John B. Moritz Collection
This collection consists of personal items and photographs from John B. Moritz. The personal items include correspondence and memorial books for John and his mother, Nora. The rest of the collection is photographs; both loose and photo album pages.
Julian Family History
The collection includes research covering the genealogy of the Julian, Beach, Humphrey, and Marshall Families as well as Beatrice Julian Snapp’s photo albums, scrapbooks, and other ephemera.
Kelsay Family Collection
This collection is primarily family group sheets for the Kelsay family along with loose photographs on the history of the Kelsay family. Additional materials on the Kelsay family are in the Adair County Library in Columbia, KY and in the Morgan County Library and the Morgan County Historical Society Museum in Versailles, MO. Dr. Kelsay collaborated with Carl Kelsay and Thema Scott Hickson to research and record the various Kelsay family lines. Each individually compiled extensive records.
Kleitz, Boothe, and Hukill Families Collection
This collection contains mostly photographs ranging in date from the early 1900s into the 1960s. These photographs concern the Kleitz, Boothe, and Hukill families who are related through marriage. Accompanying some photographs are genealogical information and newspaper clippings.
Krebs Family Collection
This collection contains the genealogical research, family photographs, and correspondence of Arthur Krebs. The genealogy research contains census, military, land, vital, and other miscellaneous records. In addition, there are numerous family unit charts as well as other genealogy research. There is also a family history of one of Arthur Krebs’ ancestors, John Hiram Ingrum. Also contained within this collection are records in German that relate to Arthur’s genealogy research.
Little Family Collection
This collection contains photographs from the Little family. These photograph range from the 1920s to the 1980s. These consists of various Little generations and most photos have accompanying labels. Three photobooks are included with this collection that do not have any accompanying labels.
Luttrell Family Collection
This collection contains the family history of Lowell Luttrell and allied families. Other surnames found within this collection include Vancil, Williams, Nash, Hodge, Huffman, Upshaw, Mears, and others. This family history contains photographs, letters, cards, and genealogical research. Also included are photographs and information relating to Denlow history located in Douglas County, Missouri.
