Corder and Croswhite Family Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains materials related to the Corder, Croswhite, Thomas, and Hall Families. This includes correspondences from many different members of the Corder and Croswhite families, as well as records related to their careers and religious affiliations. This includes record books for Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Missouri, and Waverly Presbyterian Church in Waverly, Missouri. Much of the collection contains personal correspondences and courtship letters, as well as a few ambrotype and tintype/ferrotype portrait photographs. The collection also contains documents from the Wabash Railway Company, the Waverly Coal Company, and George W. Hall’s steamboat shipping records from 1860s Waverly, Missouri. The collection also contains numerous legal documents, deeds, and abstract of title records.
