Jackson County Deeds Collection
Scope and Contents
The Jackson County Deeds Collection is a large collection of deeds, trusts, bills of sale, wills, and other documents, primarily from Jackson County, Missouri. These deeds date back to the earlies days of the county in the 1820s up until c.1950s. The collection is organized into two series: an index and the deeds. The deeds are organized by numbers found in the index, and the index is organized by name. To access the Jackson County Deeds, it is recommended to search the index first in order to locate the specific deed number in the collection.
