This collection contains materials related to Lone Jack High School in Lone Jack, Missouri. The majority of the collection is student newspapers, most of which were created during World War II, offering insights to the experiences of students during the conflict. Two student newspapers are included, Newetta and School Daze. One folder contains issues and pages with no dates. There is also a folder containing a program for the schools 1946 Dramatics Contests.

Scope and Contents This collection contains Lone Jack, Missouri history collected by Irene Spainhour. This collection was donated by the family to the Lone Jack branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library. Contained within the collection are scrapbooks, local histories, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and other ephemera.
