This collection contains correspondences between Kenneth Bien and Florence Gorman from the 1939 to the 1940s during World War II, as well as some misc. correspondences. The collection also contains several folders of family photographs, most of which are unidentified. There is also a scrapbook containing numerous photographs and other items from the military servicemen in the 1940s, as well as a folder containing an army air force training certificate from 1945 for Charles DeBaar.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of items relating to the Sunflower Ordnance Works and then later the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant. Collected by Richard B. Stevens, the contents include personal correspondence and a scrapbook. This collection contains two scrapbooks on the Stagner, Browning, and Kelley Families, including written information and photographs. The collection also contains photographs of the Stagner family from the 1880s to 1985.

This collection contains one scrapbook that was compiled with newspaper articles relating to World War II. Due to the poor condition of the scrapbook and the acidic nature of the newspapers, the scrapbook was digitized and the original scrapbook was not kept.
