Printed in the Liberty Chronicle [Liberty, MO] during the 1930s, this information contains names, dates, and more from the early days of Clay County. The information was compiled by the Alexander Doniphan Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.

This collection consists of a scrapbook compiled by Ethel White Earles from items clipped from the Liberty [MO] Tribune newspaper. These clippings range from the 1940s to 1950s. The contents include Clay County Cemeteries, Memoirs of Mrs. Melonda Estes, Old Folks Tales by Robert Withers, Recollections of Life in Liberty by W.F. Carpenter, My Scrapbook by H.H. King, Mt. Memorial Cemetery at William Jewell College, and Graves in Price Cemetery.

Scope and Contents Documents in this collection pertain to the law offices of Simrall & Simrall from the 1930s through the 1950s. Much of the collection is correspondence between the law office and clients regarding legal matters. The files are not complete. Sometimes only notes on envelopes or receipts for payments made give clues as to the people involved in the cases.
